Initially intended to be a Disney+ Original, the film was released on Disney Channel on July 10, 2025 and July 11, 2025 on Disney+. The film was mostly well received by fans and critics alike. On the premiere broadcast, it scored 600,000 total viewers. Within the first ten days of it streaming on Disney+, the film gained a total of 9.3 million viewers globally, making it the number one film on the service for quite some time.
